Dexter is the newest member of the RouStaff family – He is my first male Stafford! He comes from our litter from Wednesday and Otis. He was love at first sight and I am so thrilled he was one of the top picks in the litter! I am excited about what the future holds for him.
Accomplishments
Albany, OR March 7, 2026 – StaffSquatch Spring Fling Specialty
FIRST SPECIALTY SHOW: What can I say? At just 6.5 months old Dexter was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Puppy and Best Bred By for his first 5 point major under breeder specialist Mel Darragh of Usherin Staffords from Australia. What an incredible beginning to his show career and such an amazing honor bestowed by one of our favorite breeders of some of the best dogs behind Dexter! Special thanks to Mel for seeing his virtue in his time of looking like a little worm!
“Brindle with white, this little guy took my eye as soon as I saw him. Lovely proportioned head, good mouth, strong muzzle, has a nice round dark eye, small rose ears, Well placed shoulder, good straight front and sufficient depth of Chest, slight turn out of front feet, level topline, Nice rear angles. Moved and handled well. Awarded W/BW/BP/BOBBBE. Wishing you all the best with his future. – Critique by Mel Darragh Usherin Staffords

SBTCA National Specialty South Jordan, UT – April 29 – May 3, 2026
With a lot of growing still left to do, this guy still held his own and was a happy confident puppy taking a very long show week and road trip in stride. He was awarded 1st in his class majority of the days, but best of all he had fun doing it! The breeder judges had wonderful things to say about him.

SBT Club of Puget Sound Specialties – Graham, WA July 2026
At 10 months old Dexter picks up his second 5 point major and 2 singles going Winners Dog at the Designated Specialty and Supported Specialty leaving him with only a few singles left to finish with extremely limited showing. This boy is going places and doing better than we ever imagined he would! We are very proud of him!
