Kitsie is my first bred-by as well as a whole lot of other firsts for me; first OWNER-handled Bred by Champion, Grand Champion, and owner handled/trained to all other performance titles and achievements. Kitsie earned her first major points at just 7 months old and was a finished CH by 16 months old, and earning her GCH in just 3 more show weekends finishing in style with her first Best Of Breed win at 21 months old.  And in-between she also earned most of her performance titles within a year! Kitsie is smart as a whip and in true Stafford fashion, always up for a challenge!

In Barn Hunt – 2022 #8 in WA State overall in Open Class & #2 Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Open Class – Only 1 trial weekend to make those stats, she is a force! Kit also received HIC and a Super Ratter award for fastest combined time! First weekend out in Senior Class she received another HIC!

2023 #2 Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Senior Class

In Rally Obedience – SBTCA 2022 #8 Ranked – Rally and Obedience are not necessarily her favorite games, but she is brilliant at it. I am not sure if we will continue to pursue it beyond what we have, but perhaps if she decides she likes it again!

In NASDA – NASDA is a sport that combines vermin hunting of Barn Hunt and puts it into an urban setting. In other words we hunt for rats, but out on farms and other ‘real life’ spaces for a more natural hunting experience so to speak. They also offer Nose Work based events searching for lost personal items and shed hunting and retrieving.

We compete in two events: Urban Locating and Trailing & Locating. Urban locating is searching for a rat in a small space like a shed.  T&L is where a rat trail is laid down and the rat is hunted via trailing to its location in a large field or area.

For 2023 Kitsie #3 Stafford for TL1, #5 for TL2 and #1 for UL1!
